Cargill (EWOS Ltd.) in Westfield, Scotland is ready to be audited for the Aquaculture Stewardship Council (ASC) Feed Standard.
This is a demanding and comprehensive standard that aims to ensure that feed production for aquaculture is carried out in a sustainable manner, both for the environment and people. It applies to factory operations, the raw materials used and their production.
Cargill has recently been audited and achieved the ASC Feed certification in Norway, Canada and Chile. Now it is Cargill’s aqua feed operations in Scotland – EWOS Ltd. – turn to be audited according to the new standard for responsible feed production.
The audit will take place on 10th and 11th March 2025 in Bergen, Norway (Thormøhlens Gate 51B) and Westfield, Scotland (West Lothian, EH48 3BP) and will be carried out by the audit agency Bureau Veritas Certification.
