Food safety and quality

Transparency and traceability throughout the value chain are fundamental values at Cargill. Our customers and consumers can be confident that the feed we deliver satisfies the fish’s requirements for health and nutrition, the customer’s expectations for performance, growth and sustainability goals, and is safe food for the consumer.

Our quality system is based on laws and regulations, customer requirements and internal Cargill requirements. Our factory in Scotland is certified with four internationally recognized certification schemes for quality (ISO 9001); food safety (ISO 22000); environment (ISO 14001); and Health & Safety (ISO 45001).

In addition, we are UFAS (Universal Feed Assurance Scheme) certified, where UFAS is a recognized and acceptable feed safety certification for supply to farmers who hold GlobalGAP and other forms of certification.
